Congratulations to Kristin LoBiondo, January’s CommuniGREATER!
KRISTIN LOBIONDO, Student Affairs
- Kristin started in October and has been wonderful since day 1. She is one of the most organized people I know–you should see her planner! Kristin jumped right in as soon as she started and helped establish a system for our social media editorial calendar, and is just generally awesome every day. So glad to have her on board!
JILL POWELL, Global Education Office
- Jill did a great job heading up the new Global Ed website! She kept everyone on track, knew when and how to push back on the designers, and made sure everyone else in the office was kept up-to-date on progress.
ADRIENNE MARTIN, Duke Magazine
- Adrienne is the brilliant force that keeps Duke Magazine’s operations running smoothly. Perhaps the best summary of what she does can be found in her Duke Magazine bio: “As managing editor, Martin manages copy, time, space, and egos.” She’s also a creative talent in her own right and a real pleasure to work with.
MANDY DIXON, Pratt School of Engineering
- Mandy is an amazing asset to Pratt, and just one reason is her tremendous organizational skills–including creating and managing our extensive photo gallery, pulling together events from multiple sources to create our weekly events email, and combing through dozens of email lists to make sure the various versions of our e-newsletters get sent to the right audience. She does a million things and manages to keep on top of all of them with grace and style!
MARY LINDSLEY, Sanford School of Public Policy
- Mary is an organizing wonder! She singlehandedly manages all of the major events (and many of the minor ones) that happen at the Sanford School. How does she keep all of the details straight?? I have no idea, but our lives are better for having her as a part of our team!
ELLIE CHOPPA, University Development Marketing & Communications
- Ellie is always on top of her game. She is incredibly efficient, proactive, and her thoughtful attention to detail keeps our whole team organized and on track. Ellie is an essential leader to our DevComm team.
BRADEN WELBORN, Duke Energy Initiative
- I love working with Braden because she always presents all of her project assets in a way that’s easy to read and access, and that anticipates any questions I may have.
JESSICA CASTRO-RAPPL, Journals Marketing
- For our work publishing scholarly journals, Jessica keeps the details straight for 60+ academic exhibits and does publicity for dozens of journal issues each year.
JENNIFER RUMBACH, Duke Clinical Research Institute
- Since joining the DCRI Communications team in late 2017, Jennifer has really formalized our content creation processes. She is an organizational queen who reigns using every Microsoft Office tool – from Excel to Powerpoint – to make sure we track every deliverable, associated deadlines, and all the people involved in its creation.
BILL SNEAD, University Communications
- Bill is by far the most organized person I know! He keeps our team and the entire university organized with a fantastic photo management system. He also shares great advice about asset management
