Student volunteers from the Trinity School of Arts & Sciences, the Graduate School, the School of Nursing, the Fuqua School of Business, the Pratt School of Engineering, the Duke Divinity School, and the Nicholas School worked together for two days to help with hurricane relief.

The trip was organized by Elaine Madison, director of Duke’s Community Services Center, and Nancy Kelly, director of community engagement and events at the Nicholas School,  in cooperation with Elizabeth Demattia, director of the Marine Lab’s Community Science Program, Rachel Lo Piccolo, PhD program coordinator at the lab, and other staff members at the Nicholas School, Marine Lab and Duke Community Services Center. It was sponsored by the Office of President Vincent E. Price.
